He is a two-time Billboard Magazine National Radio Personality of the Year and a member of the Texas Radio Hall of Fame, the San Antonio Radio Hall of Fame, and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s “Top 100 Radio Personalities of All-Time.”
Sonny has entertained on some of America’s most influential radio stations in Los Angeles and Texas, earning top ratings and industry recognition. He also hosted the Disney Channel’s pioneering children’s series, You and Me, Kid!, one of the network’s longest-running programs.
