TRENT PHILLIPS, Claims Advocate
Trent has been a licensed insurance claims adjuster since 1999, and he has inspected,
adjusted, or overseen more than 40,000 claims in his career. He utilizes his extensive claims
experience to work as a liaison with insurance carriers and advocate on behalf of INSURICA
clients. EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE
Before joining INSURICA, Trent formed IAN Operations—an independent claims advocacy
group that helps resolve disputes between carriers and policyholders. Throughout his career,
he has gained an intimate understanding of how commercial insurance claims are handled by
insurance carriers. He has also been a licensed agent since 2006, so he understands insurance
coverage and how policies respond during the claims process. Additionally, he has been part of
a teaching team that taught and licensed students as part of the All-Lines Adjuster test.
Throughout the years, he has been part of a variety of litigated claims, where plaintiff and
defense parties needed expert consultants to determine claims handling and good faith. In
his current position, he brings this wealth of knowledge and expertise to expedite the claims
process and advocate for the best results for our clients. The end result is a seamless claims
experience where our clients are informed and have their interests represented throughout
the duration of the claim. PERSONAL
Community and family are important to Trent. He is an active member at First Baptist Church
and Hillside Christian Church, and he loves spending time with his son, Ian. You can find him
and his son on the golf course in the spring, in a deer stand in the fall, and on the ski slopes in
the winter.
