Function:
Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Architectural Control Committee.  Advises ACC regarding submittals and architectural input. Oversees construction projects for conformity to plans. Serves as Staff Liaison to the ACC.  Acts independently of the General Manager on a wide range of actions.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Collect all submittals and corresponding fees.  Check plans for completeness. If not complete, inform the submitter for possible correction before review.
  • Coordinate with structural architect and landscape architect for their reviews.
  • Create agenda for ACC meeting.  Email to committee members for review
  • Maintain calendar for ACC members’ participation.
  • Create meeting packets for members and set up conference room for meeting.
  • Attend all ACC meetings.  Present all submittals.  Take notes. Clean up conference room.
  • Create minutes of ACC meeting.
  • Call submitters with findings of the ACC. Write Approval/Disapproval letters to them.
  • Create and issue building permits.
  • Create and issue variances as approved.
  • Collect building and permit fees.
  • Drive community looking for builder violations. Photograph as necessary.
  • Call builders regarding their violations and work toward a solution.
  • Speak with residents about ACC process and construction rules. Liaison between builders and adjacent residents if there are issues/complaints.
  • Inspect completed projects for conformance with CC&R’s and submitted/approved plans.
  • Photograph landscaping for approval by the ACC.
  • Create and issue Certificates of Occupancy.
  • Submit refund of deposits for builders.
  • Create and issue Resale Certificates.  Inspect properties for potential issues.
  • Create new owner accounts in Condo Manager.
  • Work with title companies.  Create an information page for assessment of dues.
  • Process closing checks in Condo Manager.  Ensure correct amount was collected.
  • Clean and update homeowner files in the file room when residence changes ownership.
  • Monthly, create the ACC update for the HOA Board Meeting.
  • Maintain current build list.
  • Update bank information for ACH in Condo Manager.
  • Maintain binder of plat maps.
  • Maintain plan room.
  • Advises General Manager and/or Assistant General Manager regarding ACC issues.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned.


Qualifications:
Experience:
  1. 2-5 years in architectural design and/or construction management experience
  2. Excellent analytical, organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Strong attention to detail, follow through, confidentiality and data integrity.
  4. Strong knowledge of construction and design practice
 
Education:  Minimum Bachelors degree in Architectural/Landscape Architectural Design or Construction Science or related field
