MEET OUR SPEAKER

Sonny Melendrez inspires audiences through a remarkable career spanning radio, television, and the keynote stage.

A TEDx motivational keynote speaker, Sonny has delivered presentations and served as master of ceremonies at hundreds of events nationwide, engaging audiences with powerful storytelling and practical insight.

He is a two-time Billboard Magazine National Radio Personality of the Year and a member of the Texas Radio Hall of Fame, the San Antonio Radio Hall of Fame, and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s “Top 100 Radio Personalities of All-Time.”

Sonny has entertained on some of America’s most influential radio stations in Los Angeles and Texas, earning top ratings and industry recognition. He also hosted the Disney Channel’s pioneering children’s series, You and Me, Kid!, one of the network’s longest-running programs.

Known for his distinctive voice, Sonny has brought to life memorable characters in films, television, and national commercials.

His passion for service led to the creation of The Children of the World Project, producing the children’s version of “We Are the World,” which earned a Grammy nomination and benefited USA for Africa.

In recognition of his humanitarian work, the City of San Antonio named The Sonny Melendrez Community Center on the Westside in his honor.

It is estimated that over the course of his career, he has helped raise more than $100 million for charitable causes.

Today, Sonny continues to inspire individuals and organizations with his message of Intentional Enthusiasm—empowering people to lead with purpose, elevate performance, and make a meaningful difference.
