Braun Station West Community Improvement Association (BSWCIA) employs a property manager in order to ensure all facilities and assets are well-kept, including clubhouse, swimming pools, tennis courts, picnic areas and all recreational areas, storage building, and all BSW common areas and assets.  As such, the manager performs a wide variety of duties related to the day-to-day operation of the Association and represents the Association through the following responsibilities.

Community Communications and Clerical Duties

 
  • Manages and updates community website. 

  • Oversees the design and production of the community newsletter.

  • Serves as the point of contact for homeowners and community members in regard to the association

 

Property Maintenance and Management

  • Responsible for performing all actions required to manage, operate, and maintain the clubhouse, swimming pools, courts, and common grounds.

  • Provides supervision over BSWCIA Clerk, Deed Restrictions Officer, and lifeguard positions.

  • Maintains accounting system for all Association financial activities, including collection of receivables and payment of bills. 

  • Enforces the Association’s covenants and restrictions through periodic inspections of BSW homes and common grounds.

  • Notifies the Architectural Control Committee when homeowner or builder requests are received.

  • Develops statements of work and/or bid specifications for grounds maintenance, building modification, equipment purchases, etc.

 

Board Liaison

  • Managed by the BSWCIA Board President.

  • Works with the Board Treasurer to manage the Association budget.

  • Prepares for monthly BSWCIA Board of Directors and Annual Homeowners’ meetings on site or via virtual platform.

  • Provides logistical support to the Board for meetings.

Performs other duties as assigned.
 



Qualifications:
  • High school graduate

  • Bondable

  • General computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft, Google Suites, Sage or QuickBooks Accounting, etc.

  • Ability to respond after hours to emergency situations, as needed, related to BSWCIA property and facilities, unless specific alternates have been assigned

  • Three (3) years experience is required
