Purpose Statement
Under supervision of Director, is responsible for ensuring Governing Documents are upheld within each HOA by thorough knowledge of the CC&Rs.

Essential Functions

  • Inspects properties for violations in all areas of the Association monthly.
  • Conducts field note inspections – this involves inspecting common areas and reporting back to management team for management to address.
  • Records and tracks compliance of the CC&R’s, Rules and Regulations, in a consistent, timely fair and effective manner through use of CMG owner database.
  • Prepares courtesy letters, compliance notices, and all related compliance issues using tablet provided by management.
  • Maintains detailed records of compliance through investigations and follow up reports of non-compliance.
  • Serve as courier to pick up records / documents for newly acquired HOAs.

Must have own vehicle.
Must be able to multi task.
Must be detail oriented.
Must be self-motivated.
Must be able to prepare reports, memos, schedules, and document daily activity.
Must be able to display common sense and use good judgment in situations that require action.
Must be able to interact with people as customers, internal and external, which requires good interpersonal skills.
Daily operations could create stressful situations at times; therefore a sound, stable, confident, personality is necessary.

Skills
Basic/Advanced Computer ability, Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint,
Outlook), Telephone etiquette, Copy Machine, Knowledge of Fair Housing Standards, Legal
Compliance, Research Skills, Reporting Research Results, Analyzing Information , Coordination,
Administrative Writing Skills, Organization, Working with Others.

Knowledge
Specific knowledge-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job
include: pertinent laws, codes, policies, and/or regulations; personnel processes; and standard
business practices.

Special Requirements
  • Valid Texas Class C driver’s license in good standing.
  • Education and Training
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Working Conditions
Utilizing vehicle to perform routine physical inspections of the Community.

Preferred Experience
  • 1-2 year experience in property management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with mixed use properties, including Residential and HOA.
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate and standard property management.
  • Detailed oriented, decisive, creative, self-starter, aggressive, high energy, organized and have urgency to accomplish job on time. Excellent understanding of budget and expense control. Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare and support recommendations. Strong leadership, coaching, multi-tasking and relationship-building skills. Ability to effectuate a positive relationship with owners/asset manager through prompt and effective communication.
